So listening to a podcast today, the question of which is better red vines or twizlers came up. The people on the podcast made this seem like a east coast vs. west coast thing, but I never really saw it that way. Anyway, make sure to vote on the poll over on the right side of the page. 
In other news valentines day came and went, V and I went out the weekend before to our new favorite sushi place Miyabi because going out on the 14th is just plain nuts. It was delicious. On the 14th V was mad cause I didn't buy her any chocolates, but I knew she would buy them for herself, which she did, so everything went as planned. The Judith gets major props for getting the creatures a valentine's day gift...


In other news somewhere we got a book titled "Tatty Ratty" I have been reading it to creature #1 most nights for about a week, but I am kind of concerned about the message this book is sending.

It's about a little girl who loses her stuffed animal bunny. After looking for it around the house, the girl and her parents concoct a story about what the bunny is doing, first it rides the bus, then gets on a train, then meets Cinderella followed by some pirates, a dragon, the man on the moon and finally drops out of a spaceship and lands in the toy store. During the whole ordeal the bunny is mended and cleaned. Of course it ends with the little girl picking out "Tatty Ratty" at the toy store with her parents.

To me it seems like the story is saying "it's ok if you loose your toys cause your parents will just go to the store and buy you new ones". Maybe I am over thinking this, but it's kind of a weird plot for a kids book. I think I am going to try and find "Oh the places you'll go" and start reading that one again.
