Summer vacation!

This year we didn't go to Kalaloch and instead went down to Idaho and Utah. We left on the afternoon of the 4th of July and drove down to my buddy Dustin's place in Weiser Idaho. He had graciously allowed us to stay there even though he was already gone down to Utah on his own family vacation.

On the way down we listened to the second Harry Potter book.

We got there around 7pm and Penny approved of toys he had in the yard.

The next day we left and drove the rest of the way to stay with Prima Donna in Farmington Utah.

On the 6th we celebrated V's birthday by going out to Tucano's Brazilian Grill and stuffed ourselves with roasted meats.

We also visited our first house at Kelvin Grove in Springville. We recreated this photo from when Eva was a baby.

We also stopped by our first place in Provo.
And of course has to stop at ColdStone to eat some ice cream.
On the 7th I took E and P to Cherry Hill water park for almost the entire day. We spent most of the time in the lazy river, but did all the slides at least once.

On the 8th we drove down to Navajo Lake and set up camp, fished and hung out with family.

Eva caught this huge fish...

Welll... maybe it wasn't that big. (It's the same fish.)
And we found all his clones!

Tormo had a great time running though the grass and swimming in the lake.

V and I took a nice walk around the lake one evening.

On the 11th we rented a 6 person razor UTV and had so much fun!

Well, most of us had fun. E asked to be let out after just a few minutes, but luckily The Judith was still in cell range and came back and picked her up.

We drove all over the Duck creek area in that thing in just 4 hours.

Strawberry Point

On the 11th I took Penny to ride horses at Duck Creek. We took a 30 minute stroll though the woods and it was pretty fun.

Also on the 11th the Judith rented a pontoon boat and we cruised on that for a while.

Tormo had some great modeling opportunities.

On the 12th we drove up to V's friends house and on the 13th we drove back up to Dustin's house.
On the 14th we had an awesome day in Weiser. We went and rode horses at his neighbor's house...

Then had pizza in town.

Look a bear on a bear!

Then later that night we went to the rodeo!

Penny got a picture with the Rodeo Queen of Weiser!

The next day we drove the rest of the way home and finished listening to the third Harry Potter book.
